Costs For Our Services

Wax Removal

We charge £60 for wax removal, regardless if it is one ear or both
Wax removal is performed by the following methods:
  • manual extraction
  • Micro-suction
  • Water irrigation

Included with wax removal:
  • video otoscopy pre and post procedure
  • complimentary hearing screen post procedure
​
A £25 consultation fee is payable if your ears are found to be clear of wax

Tinnitus Consultation

£110

90 minute tinnitus consultation includes:
  • History taking
  • Tinnitus Severity Questionnaire
  • Use of IDA tools to assess impact of tinnitus
  • Full hearing diagnostic as described below
  • Counselling on model of tinnitus
  • Management options

We are able to provide various hearing protection to suit your needs including:
  • Impressions £35

  • Musician moulds £149
  • Custom fit ear moulds to fit your ear buds for music £170
  • In ear monitors from £249

  • Shooting moulds from basic to professional top of the range: £99 - £1149

Please note there is a service charge of £35 for impressions for any custom made products ordered

Complimentary Hearing Screen
15 minutes - FREE 

  • 5 point scan test
  • Pass or fail
  • Discussion on outcomes:
    • Pass = complimentary yearly screen
    • Fail = recommendation for further investigation: Basic test or full diagnostic

Basic Hearing Test
30 minutes - £35

  • Video otoscopy
  • Pure Tone Audiogram
  • Discussion of results with option to attend a Full Hearing Diagnostic

​If you attend a full diagnostic from this appointment, the £35 is subtracted from the cost of the full diagnostic 

Full Diagnostic Hearing Testing

    • Word lists to determine how well you hear the consonants and vowels in speech
    • Speech in noise test to determine how well the brain processes complex signals

  • Live demonstration of assistive listening devices
  • Discussion on recommended solutions to meet your needs
  • Copy of your hearing report

Performance review

Purchased your hearing aids from another provider? Perhaps you have recently moved into the area or wish to change provider?

We offer a Performance Review consultation of your existing technology for £349

The performance review consists of:
  • 1x Full hearing diagnostic (90 minute consultation)
  • 1x Follow up appointment (30 minute consultation)
The performance review includes:
  • Clean and service of your hearing aids
  • Video otoscopy to check the health of your ears
  • Tympanometry
  • Pure Tone Audiogram
  • Speech Audiometry - aided and unaided 
  • ​Fine tuning of your hearing aids to your prescription to optimise your current technology
  • During the follow up, we will review your progress and make further adjustments based on your feedback

What happens afterwards?
If you wish for us to take over your care moving forwards, the audiologist will discuss our Aftercare Beyond packages; a monthly subscription service
Home Visits and Out of Hours
Home visits are available upon request - please call to discuss your needs

​Want a hearing test at home?
A £35 call out charge in addition to the basic hearing test cost is payable for a home visit (Total of £70). The home visit takes 60 minutes and consists of:
  • Medical History 
  • Discussion of needs
  • Otoscopy
  • Pure Tone Audiogram
  • Explanation of results
  • Hearing Aid Demonstration
  • Discussion of options and care plans

Weekend appointments are available in branch by appointment only  - handy for those who work Monday to Friday! If you want a weekend appointment please call or complete our enquiry form on our contact page to arrange this

Evening appointments are available on a Wednesday - handy for those who need to fit their appointments around their work schedules
